  • Independent Program Modes ofr 5 surgeons with modes viz:Diathermy, Phaco 1, Phaco 2, I/A, Capvac & Vitrectomy
  • Setup mode for creating in dependent surgeon file settings
  • Vitrectomey (60 to 900 cuts/min) and Diathermy combined in same system
  • Cold cathode Fluorescent LCD panel with Backlit illumination for high contrast display
  • Air venting safety system and Fluid venting safety system with quick response
  • Auto priming, Auto fluidic test and Auto Tuning
  • Automatically detects tubing leakage during fluidics test procedure
  • Automated cleaning system explains the user in detail about each cleaning step
  • Continuous Irrigation mode switch provided in front panel
  • Talking Phaco with voice prompt system
  • Irrigation valve closes with a time delay when foot pedal is released to step 0.Avoids sudden anterior chamber shallowingIntelligent Pinch Valve opens & closes automatically before and after tubingfixation
Galaxy I : Peristaltic Aspiration
  • Improved peristaltic pump system with excellent fluidics, quick rise time properties and smart pump control system with Pulse width modulated Post Occlusion aspiration control. This controls the pump speed automatically according to the occlusion status atthe tip
  • Venturi effect obtained in Peristaltic system with Turbo Aspiration
Phaco
  • U/S Power : Linear & Non-Linear
  • U/S Modes : Continuous, Pulse, Ocupulse, Burst & Ocuburst changing facility in panel/foot switch
  • Ocuburst Mode : During tip occlusion, Linear Pulsed U/S power changes to Bursts of 100% energy which persists for 100 millisec. Between Bursts there is 100 millisec rest time.
  • Burst mode : Burst of 100% U/S energy for 90 m.sec followed by Preset U/S level of Pulse and Continuous energy application available in the foot pedal after step 3
  • Ocupulse mode : Gives feedback to the surgeon about Phaco tip occlusion. Continuous Phaco changes to Pulse Phaco automatically when tip is occluded
  • Intelligent control system detects Loose Phaco needle at the Handpiece while Auto tuning & informs if HP not connected
  • Turbo Mode : In Galaxy I: Actual Asp. Flow shifts to 35cc/min when FS is at Step 3 (phaco mode) In Galaxy II: Actual Vacuum shifts to 150 mmHg when FS is at Step3
  • POA LIN/NLIN-Post Occlusion Aspiration : Pump speed can be set to increase Linearly or Non-linearly, when the occlusion clears at Phaco Tip ( Not applicable for Galaxy II
